History of Global Positioning System

This two-volume set explains the technology, performance, and applications of the Global Positioning System (GPS). This set is the only one of its kind to present the history of GPS development, the basic concepts and theory of GPS, and the recent developments and numerous applications of GPS. Each chapter is authored by an individual or group of individuals who are recognized as leaders in their area of GPS.
